About Canggu
Canggu is a string of beach and reef peaks — Batu Bolong, Echo Beach and Berawa — that suit a wide range of surfers. The mellow, rolling wave at Batu Bolong is one of the best beginner waves on the island, while the punchier reef at Echo Beach challenges more experienced surfers. It works through most of the year and the lineups can get busy, so dawn patrol is rewarded with cleaner conditions and fewer crowds.
