About Uluwatu
Uluwatu is Bali's most iconic wave — a long, world-class left-hander that wraps around the limestone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula. It holds several sections (The Peak, Racetrack, Temples and Outside Corner) that link up on a clean south-west groundswell. Offshore on the easterly trade winds of the dry season, it can run for hundreds of metres. Paddle out and in through the cave below the temple, ideally around mid to high tide.
